A sponge cube is displayed to the audience.
Show your left hand to be EMPTY, then close it into a fist.
The cube is place  on top of your fist and pushed down inside.

Now asks if they know which hand the cube is in ???
Their answer makes no difference ...

You open both hands to show a SPONGE BALL IN EACH HAND!
