Hand this beautiful bench-made chest for examination. The spectator also examines a metal plate that you place into the box.
When they are handed back, place a BORROWED HALF DOLLAR or a quarter into the slot in the top of the box.
The coin VISIBLY SINKS DOWN right thru the bottom slot.
Again all may be examined.
Instead of the metal plate they can place another half dollar in the box. Still, the second half passes thru.
